Makers of the popular but controversial SB-15 "Sig" Brace SB Tactical announced May 19 it has designed a new pistol stabilizing brace that traces its lines from the popular "PDW" style minimalist collapsable stocks like the Troy Tomahawk setup.
The new SBPDW weighs in at 18.14 ounces, measures 5.5 inches in length and has a max width of 2.25 inches. SB Tactical also took aim at the popular market for the Sig Sauer MPX by releasing its MPX PSB that looks very close to the stock installed on the factory SBR version of the MPX.

The MPX PSB weighs 19.13 ounces, is 8 inches in length and has a max width of 2.25 inches.
SB Tactical says it has received approval by the ATF to sell the new designs as pistol braces, but there is no mention of any change to the ATF's ruling barring shooters from shouldering the brace.
